Week nine already, that is scary! This was an interesting week for everyone. With the flu epidemic in full force, we were dealing with constant absences/make-up work and playing catch up with everyone. Our room had/has every problem you could possibly imagine. I am hoping that this ends soon, because it is really hard to miss that much school. Other than that, the week was not bad. My host teacher unfortunately had a personal issue that came out of nowhere this week. It was hard to see her so upset, so the other collaborating teacher and I were sobbing with her all week! The students were also really great, they made cards and offerred hugs. It was nice to see them really care about their teacher. You don't realize how much they look up to you and care for you. I guess this week's reflection is a short one - I have more to say in the Action Research section.

ReplyDeleteConnecting personally with your students is important on so many levels. Really special when they're the ones comforting you!
